i’m kind of interested on how Sam and Cat is gonna work. they’re very opposite characters, but dan’s amazing enough that i know hoe’ll make it work somehow. i’m still a bit skeptical, but i know it’ll be great.

At a simple glance, their story is beautiful. Two people who hate each other so much, but are brought together by mutual love for a friend. She was violent, he was a pushover. She never stopped eating, he never stopped clinging to Carly. She was a delinquent, he was on the honor roll. Besides Carly, their only similarity was insecurity. But things changed. And yeah, they still push each other too far, but at the end of the day, they’re both still there. They share their first together (I hate you) and it wasn’t romantic but it was still a quintessential first kiss: nerves and open eyes. Eventually, they become friends in their own right, hanging out without Carly. Feelings started to develop and they started dating. They broke up (I love you), but the promise of a future hung in the air. They were still too different. Given some time, they could have been amazing.

I don’t understand Christmas movies where Santa exists and the adults don’t believe in him. Because if he exists in the story, that means he’s delivering presents to everyone, including the kids of the skeptical adults, and so those skeptics must be sort of confused about all the gifts under the tree that they didn’t buy.
